Pair Heisey etched glass urns or jars with sterling lids

Description

I have for sale this pair of classical shaped urns or jars. The glass urns are from Heisey Glass Company in their recessed panel pattern, with fine etched flowers. The glass is in excellent condition, there is no damage. The two sterling silver lids are from the Thomae silver company (Attleboro, Mass). Only one is hallmarked but they are obviously a pair. The lids are monogrammed “CCI” or“CCJ” in script. Condition of the lids is very good, with a little wear from use. The inside of the lids seems to have been originally gilded, but the gold is worn from years of polishing. The finials of the lids are weighted. The two glass urns are 17 cm high and 11 cm diameter, the overall height with the lids 25 cm.
